Quiet Hills Self-Catering
Quiet Hills self-catering for two people offers light, spacious and comfortable modern accommodation in a pretty period cottage setting. The property, an annexe attached to the cottage, is in a lovely country lane, at the foot of Gob-y-Volley and has panoramic views across farmland and up into the hills.
The accommodation is self-contained, thoughtfully furnished and equipped to a high standard. It comprises one large bedroom, which may be arranged as a double or twin-bedded room, with an en-suite shower room; an open plan kitchen/living room; a hall and a cloakroom. Guests have their own driveway, furnished patio/barbecue area and wooded garden.
Quiet Hills is extremely well located in the heart of the northern countryside, on the edge of Sulby village (6 mins. walk away), with its shop/post office and two pubs serving meals. It is also a short walk to the Curraghs Wild Life Park and the largest on the island, Sulby Glen. The town of Ramsey, the vast deserted beach at Ballaugh, the beautiful Bishop's Court Glen and Snaefell's mountain scenery can all be reached by car in less than fifteen minutes. The capital, Douglas, is a 25 minute drive away; Port Erin, Port St Mary and Castletown, in the south, are 40 minutes, and both Laxey and Peel are 20 minutes away. The Isle of Man may be small, but it is packed with things to see and do.
John and Vicky Peel will give you a warm welcome at Quiet Hills, whether you are looking for a wonderful walking, cycling, fishing or bird-watching holiday; golf at three nearby courses; a relaxing and peaceful retreat; or just a base from which to tour the whole island. |
